Netball NSW have released guidelines for the return to netball training in groups of up to 10 people.
On Friday 15 May the NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 2) 2020 came into effect which allows for gatherings of up to 10 people. This will enable netball training to re-commence, however still without any body contact drills.
Importantly, Associations are advised that the restrictions applied to netball allow for a maximum of 10 people on a court at any one time. This includes players plus any coaches, parents, spectators, etc. The 10 person per court limit can not be exceeded at any time.
Netball NSW has created a simple one-page summary of the restrictions which apply to returning to training with 10 person groups. Also available is an info-graphic which summarises the Guidelines for Netball Activity under the 10 person restrictions. You are encouraged to click through to these documents, download and make copies to display them prominently at your courts.

Finally, earlier today Netball Australia released comprehensive documents and infographics around the Return to Netball. Netball NSW strongly encourages Associations and Clubs to review the contents of the Return to Netball section at www.netball.com.au/return-to-netball and download the information for use at your venues.
Please also note that currently NSW sits at Level B - Stage 1 on the Venue Guidelines matrix included on the Netball Australia site.
The most important thing is that netballers in NSW stay healthy. Please follow the guidelines so that we can play our part in moving NSW towards the further easing of restrictions in the weeks to come.
Netball NSW would like to thank our fantastic members for their patience and support as we work through the Return To Play process.
