Netball NSW is delighted to announce the athletes selected to represent the state in this year's Marie Little Shield (MLS) competition.
The annual tournament provides women with an intellectual disability the chance to compete and represent their state at a national level. Named after disability netball pioneer, Marie Little OAM, the competition sees teams from each state compete.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the MLS did not take place in either 2020 or 2021, however, it is back on the calendar in 2022 with Netball Australia due to make an announcement regarding the host venue soon.
NSW has a fine history of success in the MLS with four titles in five years before the competition's COVID-enforced hiatus.
Netball NSW would like to congratulate the following athletes and training partners who have been selected, as well as their coaching and support teams.
